M. Chapoutier Belleruche Côtes du Rhône Rosé 2018

Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceChapoutier practices débourbage, allowing the juice to settle for 24 hours, gently imparting its colour to the wine. Expect a perfectly pale salmon colour, previewing an inviting floral red fruit nose. It’s so fresh and juicy with bright citrus, strawberry, watermelon, bergamot and a light dusting of pepper. While it would be fine at the beach, it will be equally capable at the dinner table alongside a charcuterie plate. Love the wine and the price. The fruit, night-harvested, is mostly grenache with cinsault, then syrah comes from the right bank of the Rhône, from vines planted in loess and sandy soils.Tasted: 16 October 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
