Alentejo, Central and Southern Portugal, PortugalThis Alentejano rosé comes through the lens of Antonio Maçanita, Portugal's young highly heralded consulting winemaker. This blend of 80/20 petit verdot and touriga naçional was fermented and rested briefly in stainless. The grapes' ample perfume wafts above a tart base of wild cranberries, tangerine, red currants. Acidity is snappy and the palate is smooth, finishing with an orange creamsicle note and red floral kiss.
