Haywire Pinot Noir 2018

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe white label pinot comes from Oliver's organically farmed Secrest Vineyard, now wholly owned by Haywire. It was native fermented in clay amphorae as well as concrete before blending and bottling. Soft on the palate, you can detect an earthy, cherry, plum nose that spills onto the palate with intense spice and a dusting of Okanagan desert garrigue. It's a juicy, ethereal, complex pinot that adds to the diversity of Okanagan offerings, and it is just coming into its perfect window of drinkability. Consider serving this with turkey in the fall or grilled pork off a summer barbecue.Tasted: 05 September 2019Tasted by: Prices:
