Liquidity Reserve Pinot Noir 2017
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA step up in structure, and depth, from their entry estate pinot noir, the Reserve is a blend of clones 667, 828, and 115, the latter own-rooted and planted in 1994. Whole berries were partially native fermented before being pressed off into French oak (36% new) for an 18 month rest. Textural and layered, with earthy cassis, wild plum, cracked pepper and toasted oak. Tannins are plush and supportive of the darker, wood-grain fruit. This is much more of a juicy steak pinot than light salmon pinot, so if you're in the mood for beef and pinot...Tasted: 27 August 2019Tasted by: Prices:BC | $56.00 | 750ml | winery direct; private wine shops |
