Intersection Viognier 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Intersection's two-acre block of estate viognier, this was fermented and aged in neutral French oak. It has an attractive, if not overly complex, nose of ripe apricot and subtle lees. The palate is creamy and round, showing the wine’s 10 months of bâtonnage, but the fruit comes across slightly muddled and fades on the finish, leaving you with unintegrated, surprisingly tart acidity. Best to drink now, with only a slight chill.Tasted: 02 September 2019Tasted by: Prices:
