Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe XV opens with a reduced nose of meat and pepper over blackberry and cherry. The blend is an unusual mix of roughly 60/40 syrah and cabernet franc. The attack is lifted with red fruits and fairly prominent acidity, and the finish is fresh and peppery.
