Penner-Ash Viognier 2018

Oregon, United StatesOur note from last year asks, “is it classic viognier?” And the same question is valid for the 2018 vintage. It skews towards the green fruit spectrum, with a swath of green apple and lime, before revealing subtle floral aromatics and honeyed stone fruit that are more characteristic of viognier. Entirely fermented and matured in stainless steel, the fruit is bright and pure with a silky, oily texture.Tasted: 13 July 2019Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
