Mission Hill Terroir Collection No. 29 Bluebird Passage Viognier 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom the Terroir Series, this Osoyoos-based wine nails the fresh, bright, vibrant style of viognier which is rare worldwide. It moves between stainless, concrete egg, and French oak to add complexity to young vines. Look for classic peach and pear with nectarine skin notes and fresh underlying acidity to pick it up out of the glass. A fun wine to serve with food and it has the structure to take on some exciting dishes from Indian to Thai to local free-run chicken. I love this style.Tasted: 04 June 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 30.00 winery direct, restaurant

Mission Hill Terroir Collection No. 29 Bluebird Passage Viognier 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOne of MHFE's Terroir Series, this is based on Osoyoos fruit, with a 10 percent splash from Black Sage Bench. This spent time in stainless, concrete egg, and French oak for additional layers of complexity. Lush and perfumed white peach, pear, apricot fuzz, prickly pear, and gingersnap and white pepper spicing along the medium-bodied, smooth palate. Varietally true, which is not always easy with finicky, flabby viognier.Tasted: 06 July 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 30.00 winery direct, restaurant
