Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLovely pale pinot colour of the classic 'eye of the partridge,' along with a sensual nose of ripe, wild berries with attractive suggestions of greenery and earth. Fresh raspberry juicy flavours flow forth, with herbs, woodsy mushrooms, and a dusting of cocoa. Very streamlined and pure, with a little astringent nip on a charming finish. Mild tannins, very well balanced acidity, and all in all, a very delicious drop. Don't overwhelm with intense food flavours; perhaps just some herbed stuffed mushrooms.Tasted: 18 July 2019Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom a single block of estate fruit, this mix of clones 667 and 115 was 25 percent fermented whole bunch before aging in French oak, 20 percent of which was new. Pouring a pale hue on a slender palate, this is filled with wild raspberry, dusky cherry, anise, with hints of sarsaparilla and peppery spice. Tannins are lightly tuggy, holding the fruit to a sapid finish. Youthful and earnest, and well handled, this elusive wine is one to watch in future.Tasted: 15 July 2019Tasted by: Prices:
