Upper Bench Merlot Limited Release Estate Grown 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe “estate-grown” UB merlot is a more intense style with a slightly tighter style than the regular label. The nose is aromatic, with desert savoury, black fruit notes that spill on onto the palate. Its slightly cooked super-ripe, black cherry/blackcurrant fruit flavours present with some lifted, volatile notes marking what was a very hot vintage. Similar to last year the texture is chewy in texture.
