San Valentino Pinot Grigio 2017
Puglia, ItalyPinot Grigio is either loved, or reviled, it seems. The grape and style is a chameleon, running the gamut from thin and insipid and forgettable, to chiseled and zesty and mineral-rich. This well-priced model is on the simple side, but thankfully not dumbed down like many of its contemporaries. There is a generous bed of lees to bed the crisp lemon, green melon, pine nut and herbs. Snappy and salty on the brief finish, this is a welcome addition to your summer patio.Tasted: 25 June 2019Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:BC | $17.99 | 750ml | private wine shops |
