JoieFarm Quotidien Brut 2018

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaQuotidien, or your daily ration, is a tradition I think every sparkling wine producer wishes their customers would adopt. This pleasant soft, 70/30 mix of riesling/chardonnay from east Penticton sites was matured in neutral puncheons on its lees over the winter and then mixed with some riesling that was ageing without sulphur. The second ferment was done in the Charmat tank and bottled with zero dosage. The wood ageing and low sulphur give this sparkler an unexpected richness, and gout Anglaise (mature) finish that all meshes with the Joiefarm style and goal to make food wines. Try this with several varied tapas before dinner.Tasted: 24 June 2019Tasted by: Prices: BC 19.97 BCLS Producer: JoieFarmDistributors: Winery Direct
