Da Silva Chenin Blanc Viognier 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe thing about a chenin blanc viognier blend is it has the potential to be a flabby, perfume bomb. This wine is anything but, and even though it has the honey and quince, as you might expect it also has minerality and floral undertones to help it soar out of the glass before finishing fresh and bright with green apple and lime acidity. Serve just chilled with Thai prawns for a perfect match. A modest 12.5 percent alcohol adds to its charm. The mix is 50/50 chenin blanc and viognier that is all stainless steel fermented.Tasted: 04 June 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $22.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
