Rías Baixas, Galicia, SpainAtlantis Albariño is a part of the Atlantis series managed by oenologist Raúl Acha, producing Atlantic wines from different DOs in Spain. This juicy albariño is from a sandy soiled vineyard near the river Miño in Rias Baixas. The attack is a lemon storm with lime peel and melon, and a floral apricot blossom undercurrent. Fresh, electric, alive, and simply so much fun to sip, I forgive its unnecessary cork finish. A clear jump above less year and terrific value.
