Sea Star Maréchal Foch 2018
Pender Island, Southern Gulf Islands, British Columbia, CanadaI reckon if more maréchal foch was made like this (chillable, light-bodied, with care and sensitivity), the oft-lamented grape would become much more lauded. Following on last year's success, this is another pale cherry hued, lighter red, fully tuned with boysenberry, cherry, drippy ripe raspberry on the juicy, buoyant palate. Tannins are near negligible, and the finish rings with sea salts, encouraging (demanding, really) another glass.
