Temperatures finally drop at harvest, but persistent rains made strategic picking necessary. Look for a medium-weight cab with the kind of elegance you would expect from the house of Lafite. The palate is more savoury red fruit than black, with a spicy mid-palate and a dusting of wild herbs (boldo).
