Jean-Luc Colombo Amour de Dieu Condrieu 2016

Condrieu, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceCondrieu, a Rhone appellation that is home to the centre of viognier, sets the standard. Still, the problem is the style is foreign to most wine drinkers who have embraced New World viognier and barely know this wine. The nose is delicate, offering up flower blossoms and light almond mixed with citrus, orange, and honeysuckle. The palate is equally involved with ginger adding to its complexity. Power and elegance with restraint; this is a delicious bottle of viognier. Made by Jean Luc Colombo, this is a wine worth investigating. We served it with a curry and bean rice bowl to maximum effect.Tasted: 01 March 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 89.00 estimated retail Producer: Jean-Luc ColomboDistributors: Stile Brands
