Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMerlot gets a bad rap at retail, but merlot is an excellent choice from the south Okanagan where it quickly ripens. This estate version from Bordertown is all that and more with fragrant garrigue that wraps around a black raspberry core, seasoned with pepper and dried oregano.
