Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDry-ish is such a great name for riesling. This, from Culmina's R&D line (Research & Development + brothers Ron & Don Triggs fronting the label) embraces the concept, with a tight line of citrus acidity that draws the ripe pear, orange, yellow apple, lime through to a lip-smacking finish. The tight acidity is perfectly offset against the ripe, off-dry fruit on the mid-palate. This was sourced from the higher altitude Stan's Bench on their Golden Mile Estate, proving that riesling can excel in the warm southern Okanagan.Tasted: 17 July 2019Tasted by: Prices:

Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaNearly dry is the key message here, and it's truthful. Fresh and vibrant with just a bump of sugar to smooth out the acidity, this riesling is sharpened and ready to go. This comes off Stan’s Bench, 500 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest vineyards in the south Okanagan. It is a stainless steel ferment, leaving it crisp and fresh with a mix of melon, apples and honeysuckle throughout. The winery offers up a delicious list of food pairings such as, “buttermilk fried chicken, potato salad, and as many ‘family’ members who find themselves walking through the back gate". Super value.Tasted: 18 April 2019Tasted by: Prices:
