Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaRich, full, wooded, and old school, this sweetish chardonnay is plumped with candied green apple, tropical fruit, vanilla, full cream, honeycomb and a minty coolness on the wood spiced finish. Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThe colour suggests the wine could be both mature and oaky. It's both pitching a spicy toasted oak nose against warm, forward, ripe pear and apricot flavours. The palate is smooth, the lees muted and the acid strangely low for an Ontario chardonnay.
