Kaiken Reserva Especial Malbec 2016
Agrelo District, Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaNot the best year for red wines that lagged behind normal parameters in cool weather. The attack here is fresh, and the fruit red flavoured as you might expect, but without a lot of meat or density. The fruit was hand-picked and further sorted at the winery. The fruit goes through a 30-day fermentation and maceration before aging in French oak barrels for six months. Light, bright, floral and spicy but lacks body and length. Ready to drink.Tasted: 21 March 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
