Dão, Northern Portugal, PortugalThis stately blend of encruzado, malvasia fina, cerceal, bical, verdelho, averaging 15 years in vine age, was aged in wood and concrete before maturing in concrete for approximately one year. Much more intensity than the standard Branco coming from the extended aging, and grip from the concrete. Lees, tight subtle quince, lemon pixellation on the palate, with a slight herbal and salted parmesan note.
