Kitsch Chardonnay 2017
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe regular Kitsch Chardonnay is a complete departure from the reserve edition that leans on a fair bit of oak. The style is light and soft and a bit watery but in the right way, making it almost gulpable. We like the resiny/chalky lees notes and light green apple/pear flavours that leave the palate clean with a touch of complexity. A dollar of every bottle sold goes to Mama's for Mama's - a national charity assisting families in need. Good value here. It is all estate chardonnay, clone 95, planted in 2013 on silty loam over sand.
