Kitsch Chardonnay 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe regular Kitsch Chardonnay is a complete departure from the reserve edition that leans on a fair bit of oak. The style is light and soft and a bit watery but in the right way, making it almost gulpable. We like the resiny/chalky lees notes and light green apple/pear flavours that leave the palate clean with a touch of complexity. A dollar of every bottle sold goes to Mama's for Mama's - a national charity assisting families in need. Good value here. It is all estate chardonnay, clone 95, planted in 2013 on silty loam over sand. After whole cluster pressing and fermentation in stainless, this spent eight months in neutral French oak.Tasted: 24 July 2019Tasted by: Prices:
