California, United StatesI'm a bit confused as to the name of this wine. Trim, meaning slight, slim and narrow, feels the opposite of this Cali Cab, declared at 14.2 degrees. Sweet, ripe, candied black and red fruit is potent and thick on the palate of this Cali red. Overripe, and rich with blackberry pie, amply dosed with potpourri, nutmeg and cinnamon. Tannins are light and softened, and the finish is short and very warm.
