Sperling Vineyards Old Vines Pinots

Sperling Vineyards Old Vines Pinots 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAnn Sperling farms the east Kelowna bench land her grandparents settled more than 150 years ago, and she does it biodynamically, with decades of winemaking experience and inherent familiarity with the land. This is a blend of pinot gris and pinot blanc, with 35 years vine age. Tight and snappy, bedded with grapefruit, bosc pear, yellow apple, citrusy lees and kissed with ponderosa pine, this wine has energy that keeps it humming its entire 12.5 degree frame. Classic northern Okanagan, and understated as Anne's wines always are.Tasted: 17 November 2018Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices: BC 27.89 winery direct, private wine shops Producer: Sperling VineyardsDistributors: Revelry Import Company
