Piedmont, ItalyHow delicious is Mati? From the Calosso Province of Asti, this is grown at 400 metres, giving it a cool, fresh demeanour with aromatic red fruit coupled with dry, earthy, forest floor hints so prevalent in many Italian reds. It’s barbera and it's bright acidity is completely in tune with the region and the style. Think of raw beef dishes, roasted chicken or mushroom risotto.
