Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA blend of 67 percent cabernet sauvignon and 33 percent cabernet franc from a certified organic vineyard in Osoyoos, this was aged in concrete for eight months prior to bottling. It's bright and restrained in style with sappy black fruits and an herbal lift. A year of bottle age has helped to soften the tannins, and the vibrant acidity makes this a surprisingly easy pour, especially if served with a slight chill. Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe mix is 67/33 cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc from a certified organic vineyard in Osoyoos. Eight months in concrete has given this red a fragrant, black fruit nose and a very juicy upfront attack but there are some, rich, grippy tannins in the back end suggesting it needs time in the bottle to settle. The minty, medicine chest cherry has a spicy mineral undercurrent that runs tod a savoury fresh finish. Grilled sausages would be a fine choice today if you are drinking for the fruit and high energy it brings to the glass, but personally I would wait a couple of years before trying this vintage again.Tasted: 29 December 2018Tasted by: Prices:

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCabernet sauvignon (2/3) and cabernet franc from a certified organic vineyard in Osoyoos make up this textural big red, one that comes by its firm, amply grippy frame from fermenting and aging in concrete for eight months. Thorny black fruit, espresso, medicinal cherry, crushed stones and cracked peppercorns is kept fresh with acidity, and that aforementioned grippy texture keeps it feel fresh and from being weighty on the 13 degree, medium bodied palate.
