Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is as round and as rich as it gets for merlot in terms of texture. The nose is an intense smoky, salami affair with a savoury sagebrush and vanilla undercurrent. The attack is similar with spicy, youthful, cherry, cocoa espresso, all with grippy tannins in the finish.
