North Coast Region, California, United StatesWow. Pouring a light rhubarb hue, this perfumed trousseau was sourced from three sites across the North Coast and volcanic cobbles over river stones. Whole cluster and native fermented before 11 months in a combination of neutral French oak barrels, puncheons and foudre. Wild blueberries, fine leather, autumn berries, anise, plum with a light dusting of ash. Tannins are whisper fine and acidity is lofty, all of which welcome a chill and a chugging.
