Sardinia, ItalyA wonderfully consistent label you can count on. Costamolino comes off cool hillside vineyards 190 metres above the Mediterranean. There is rigourous selection of fruit followed by a light pressing and only free run juice to fermentation. The resulting vermentino is delightfully crisp and fresh with a green/yellow colour and enticing floral, ginger notes. The attack is similar with bitter quince and ripe yellow apple flecked with tropical orange. Big enough to match a wide range of seafood including crab, clams, stews and white fish.
