Tomero Malbec 2017

Mendoza, ArgentinaThe ‘tomero’ label is a tribute to the noble office of the man who holds the key to Mendoza waterways, and is the one responsible for opening and closing gates to the water from the Andes Cordillera that irrigates farms and vineyards. The colour is bright with aromatic red cherries dusted with brown spices. The entry is soft, juicy and ripe with weighty but silky tannins and a smooth, easy sipping red fruit finish. Only 20 percent of the wine spends nine months in French oak. Chicken empanadas anyone?Tasted: 17 October 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
