Synchromesh Riesling Storm Haven Vineyard 2017
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is the premium riesling from Canada's riesling specialist. Storm Haven is Alan Dickinson's home estate vineyard in Okanagan Falls, a stunning biodiverse site perched on outflow from a mountain pass, and nestled at the base of Peachcliff Mountain. It's easily one of the top sites planted in BC. Low intervention in the vineyard and winery, this was picked in three stages to best express the site. Driving limey minerality, apricot, white peach is held taut with a tight brace of acidity and rasp of broken stones. The palate is absolutely electric with riveting acidity, easily and nimbly carrying the RS along the sleek palate to a lengthy finish.
