Mettler Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Lodi, Central Valley, California, United StatesThis thick, opaque, near black pour is from Lodi, and feels every single decimal of its 15.6 degree declared frame. Twelve percent petite sirah joins this blend, with the cabernet selected from four blocks of French clones. The whole spent 16 months in barrel prior to release. Chewy black fruit, blackberry syrup, ripe black cherry, dark molasses, peppercorn, smoked wood and medicinal cherry coat the palate of this monster, bound by sticky tannins and finishing with that swell of heat that lingers in the lungs. If you think more is more, you may be interested in this. Especially if you're serving BBQ ribs.Tasted: 12 October 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
