Fitzpatrick Sudden Inversion Meritage 2016

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGrippy, gritty, bitter-edged black fruit is bound by coffee grinds, black pepper and toasted wood. There's a sandpaper note and feel that gobbles up the warm, ragged finish. Beef stew would be this wine's new bestie. This uses ten percent whole bunch in the 25 day fermentation, after which aging in French oak for 14 months, 12 percent of which was new, before bottling unfined and unfiltered.Tasted: 19 October 2018Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
