Evoluna Chardonnay 2015
California, United StatesA small crop is the force behind this intense chardonnay, along with importer Kimberly Jones and Jean-Charles Boisset. It’s hard to imagine this comes from California. It’s cool coastal Sonoma from some prime vineyards but that is where the California ends. The wine is about finesse, quiet confidence, complexity and length with a little bit of pear, citrus and dried apricots. Impressive for the price.
