Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2016 franc is not as captivating as the 2015, although the acidity is fresher. Just on the edge of lifted, the black raspberry fruit melds with a resinous backdrop flecked with pepper and dried tomato leaf. Funky to the finish, but ready to drink.
