Volcanic Hills Bubbly Gewurztraminer 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSparkling gewürztraminer is not for everyone, but don’t undersell the fizzy version of this aromatic variety. The nose is a subdued (classy) mix of citrus and lime with orange blossom and a touch of rosewater. The attack is dry, and though it’s a touch foamy, it's stylish with more citrus marmalade and ginger spicing on the finish. This would be fun with Indian cuisine, or most any vegetarian dish.
