Stoneboat Pinot House Alessio 2017
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaGood last year and equally fine this year although different with fruit that is riper. The mix is 91/9 pinot bianco/müller-thurgau. The blanc was picked twice, including some richer botrytis affected fruit that fattens the overall mix. Look for floral honeysuckle, melon with sweet peach and a bump of residual sugar (7.2g/l) in the finish. A little more exotic than I would prefer but many will like this style, especially with spicy food.Tasted: 04 July 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $21.90 | 750ml | winery direct, private wine shops |
