Lake Breeze Pinot Blanc 2016
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPinot Blanc is Lake Breeze's signature wine, and changes little year over year, though in 2016 it feels riper / more off-dry than some previous vintages. Rich in fruit and aromatics, with ample pear, white peach, yellow apple on a creamy, ripe palate. Sage leaves and stones add an herbal interest to this full-boded white, one that snaps with lime pith on the finish. Okanagan fruit is supplemented with fruit from the Similkameen here. Another solid year, and showing, for pinot blanc.
