Harper's Trail Thadd Springs Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016
Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaAffordable, check; tasty check; real pinot character, check; ready to drink. check. There’s a lot to like here, beginning with the fact that it’s not overdone. Soft, plummy fruit with a thread of spice and savoury dried herbs melts into your palate with zero tannins. The winery suggests Aburi sushi, salmon, grilled vegetables, or poultry, and we agree. The winery is named for the cattle drive “trail” of pioneer rancher Thaddeus Harper, and was the first from Kamloops.Tasted: 27 July 2018Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $23.00 | 750ml | winery direct, BCLS Kamloops |
