Puglia, ItalyThis nero di troia grows at 350-450m in the Apulian hills. This dusky red is imbued with scrubby herbs, infiltrating plum, dark raspberry, boysenberry along a medium-slight body. A juicy core, and nubby fine tannins welcome pairing with grilled sausages or kabobs. This saw no oak, thankfully, and could take a chill readily. Well done.Tasted: 26 May 2019Tasted by: Prices:
Puglia, ItalyThe fruit grows at 350 to 450 metres above sea level on the hills of Apulia. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel for ten months. The nose is Mediterranean fragrant with vibrant black raspberry and cherry notes. The attack is soft and juicy with round sweet tannins and a push of acid at the back end. A grilled chicken pasta or a favourite meaty pizza is the match.Tasted: 10 April 2018Tasted by: Prices:
