Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCharacter Red is an unusual mix of syrah, merlot, petit verdot and malbec that spends 6-8 months in a mix of French and American oak. The nose is improved this year, with less oak and more savoury, brighter fruit intensity. The attack is soft thanks to similar tannins with heaps of black fruit, dried herbs, cocoa and vanilla and roasted meats.
