Lake Country, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI like this juicy style of gewürztraminer: long on flavour and fruit and a little less focused on the heavier, oily style. The nose is fresh and aromatic with a bright floral rose/orange/citrus theme. The palate is similar with bits of fresh litchi, ginger, spice and honeydew melon. Balanced and clean, this is a food magnet. I like it with fish tacos, spicy tuna sushi rolls, fresh crab or a spicy pork rice dish.
