Liquidity Pinot Noir 2016
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWarm, soupy cherry, strawberry jam, root beer and cola mark this Okanagan Falls estate pinot noir. This is Liquidity's 1994 planting of own rooted clone 115, plus clones 667, 777, 828 and 91, all harvested and fermented separately. Each was aged in 21 percent new French oak for 11 months prior to blending and bottling. A gentle potpourri perfume floats on the surface to a short-ish finish. A pretty-looking, simple, unresolved pinot noir, that needs a bit of tightening and acidity to really shine. Try this with a salmon burger.Tasted: 26 February 2018Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $26.00 | 750ml | winery direct; private wine shops |
