Barone Ricasoli Brolio Chianti Classico Riserva 2015
Siena, Tuscany, ItalyFrom the special 2015 vintage, this Reserva is all savoury and serious espresso, flake salts, thorns, dark soils, and earthy black fruit, with anise drawn throughout the grippy frame. This Reserva was selected from estate vineyards between 300-400m, and has 80 percent sangiovese flushed out with merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Sixteen months in barrique and tonneaux is followed by a further 3 to 6 months of bottle ageing.
