Martin's Lane Fritzi’s Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014

West Kelowna, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFritzi's is a unique site in the MHFE portfolio, named after owner Anthony Von Mandel's mother. It's located at the base of Mt. Boucherie, a dormant volcano, in West Kelowna. This pinot is from a single block of the oldest vines, planted to clone 115 and on granitic soils. After a native ferment, this spent 17 months in French, extra tight-grained oak. Savoury, and muscular, with tight, dark black fruit and firm, fine tannins. This structural wine is coursing with energy in youth and will reward with cellaring. 2014 is the inaugural vintage of Fritzi's.Tasted: 18 October 2018Tasted by: Prices:
