California, United StatesRich and potent, as you might expect from the name (Bourbon aged small batch) and weight of the bottle (oof). This thick zinfandel from Mendocino and Sonoma was aged in new and used Bourbon barrels. A shellack of sweet wood and baking spice infiltrated this highly potent, thick and hot red, with heaps of blackberry jam and a dose of residual sugar.
