Tenute Silvio Nardi Rosso di Montalcino 2014

Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyThe handpicked grapes come off the Casale del Bosco estate. The wine is fermented and aged in used casks of various sizes for six months, followed by four months in bottle. The attack is Italian dry with a mix of red and blue berries on the nose and palate. The style is spare (rosso) with juicy notes of strawberry, worn leather, resin and a light peppery finish. Simple, rustic red perfect for chicken or mushroom dishes.Tasted: 28 December 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
