Perseus Invictus 10th Anniversary 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2014 Invictus was created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Perseus, the winery's flagship cabernet franc, merlot and malbec blend. This is a deep, ripe and dense red, round with sweet black fruit, red florals, smoked tobacco, light menthol on a cushy, plush palate. Tannins are pliable, though the wine remains structured through its wood use. There is a bloody, balsamic jus swing on the finish, making this suitable for pairing with a rare steak.
