Serralunga, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThere’s lots of talk about the quality of 2013 Barolos that tread the balanced harmonious route with real fruit. The nose is fragrant, if not iconic, with floral, tarry notes. The attack is rounder and softer than you might expect which is becoming a hallmark of this brand, and frankly it is appealing.
